ROCÍO NO HABITA EN EL OLVIDO is an original small-format musical by Nacho Artime about an idea by César Belda and Eva Diago directed by Juan Polanco. It supposes the first and until now only theatrical tribute to one of the biggest voices in Spain: Rocío Jurado. In it the actress Eva Diago develops both his imitative capacity of "the greatest" as well as his interpretative and vocal skills to, together with Jacobo Dicenta, offer us a show that is an authentic roller coaster of emotions. Originally presented at the Gran Hotel La Toja and then at the Nuevo Teatro Alcalá in 2008-2009 with a subsequent production in Miami by Ada Linares.

 

Eva Diago received the Gran Vía Award for the best actress for her performance.
