LA VERBENA DE LA PALOMA is an adaptation of the zarzuela homonym of Bretón and De la Vega, adjusting it to the current times of Lorenzo Moncloa and César Belda. It includes a new duo for the two protagonists written by César Belda and Carlos Crooke, as well as new orchestrations for the whole work. It has been staged by different companies since its inception, always with resounding success.
